The Centre County Airport Authority board of directors are pleased to announce a reduction in charges applied directly to the airlines operating at the State College Regional Airport (SCE).
The Authority understands that in recent years, all airlines found it difficult but necessary to make service adjustments to most of their operational markets including SCE . As these events have unfolded, the State College Regional Airport has monitored the changes closely. The result identified the need to reduce the costs for the foreseeable future that are directly borne by the airlines.
Starting on February 1, 2025 the following changes will be implemented:
- Rents currently charged to the airlines at SCE for terminal space will be reduced by 50%.
- Security fees paid by the airlines at SCE will be waived.
While the airlines remain focused on their business models we hope these adjustments will provide a better operating environment for the airlines and possibly facilitate an increase of service options for airline travelers to and from central Pennsylvania.
